Alexia Green created Brown Girl Botanica to make garden design feel more accessible, culturally familiar, and realistic for everyday people. Her work is especially focused on the spaces traditional garden advice often overlooks — apartment balconies, patios, rental properties, and first-time garden spaces.
She also brings deep experience developing larger gardens and helping clients think beyond individual plants to create complete, functional growing environments. From one container on a balcony to a full raised-bed backyard transformation, she meets clients where they are.
